ABSTRACT
Many strains of bacteria have become increasingly resistant to antibiotic. Rational use of antibiotics, a goal and a major challenge in drug prescription, makes sure to use antibiotic effectively.
Objective:
- Describe reality of antibiotic treatment for inpatients
- Identify some factors related to antibiotic indications
Method: Study describes the cross
Result: The survey of 392 inpatients: 36.73% of inpatients treated with antibiotic, oral using has a highest rate 40.97%; Beta-lactam broad antibiotic group is used the most (59.72%); 51.4% of inpatients using antibiotic for 5-10 days.
Conclusion: The indications of antibiotic use should be paid attention to dosing, type and using to prevent drug-resistant bacteria
